The Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda are involved in a legal dispute at the International Court of Justice over reparations related to Uganda's involvement in conflicts in the DRC during the late 1990s and early 2000s. The court ruled in 2022 that Uganda must pay $325 million to the DRC for damages caused during the conflict.
